The Silverado 1500 horsepower output depends on the engine. The base TurboMax™ I4 gets 310 horsepower. The 5.3-liter V8 gets 355 horsepower. The 6.2-liter V8 has 305 horsepower. Finally, the Turbo Diesel I6 produces 305 horsepower.
